Serving Ewing Since 1960
The story behind Mercer County's most trusted independent auto shop.
65 Years. One Street. One Standard.
Larkins Service Center first opened on Parkway Ave in October 1960. That's 65 years of Ewing families trusting us with their cars — through oil crises and recessions, through the rise of computerized engines and import vehicles, through generations of the same families coming back because they know they'll be treated fairly.
Steve Larkin runs the shop today with the same philosophy it was built on: tell people the truth about their car, fix what needs fixing, charge what's fair, and send them home without regret. It sounds simple. In auto repair, it's rare.
We've watched dealerships open and close around us. We've watched national chains arrive with their flashy coupons and their service advisors on commission. We're still here. Still on Parkway Ave. Still answering the phone ourselves.
"Diagnose it honestly. Fix what needs fixing. Charge what's fair. Send them home." That's been the rule on Parkway Ave since 1960.
The People Behind the Work
Steve Larkin leads a small, experienced crew of mechanics who share the same standard: do the job right, communicate clearly, and never recommend work that isn't needed.

What We Won't Do
We won't recommend repairs you don't need. We won't use scare tactics to pad your bill. We won't talk over your head with jargon to justify more work. And we won't hand you off to a service advisor on commission — you talk to the people who actually fix your car.
That's not marketing copy. It's how this shop has survived for 65 years.
